2015 London Golf Show report

by susnet / Monday, 16 November 2015 / Published in Uncategorised

It was a huge thrill to be back at the London Golf Show for the sixth time entertaining visitors with our minigolf and ping pong activities. Alongside the course and tables we had a separate stand with special offers on a bright selection of themed and novelty golf balls. The show was a success for us with many rounds and games played, Christmas pressies sold and funds and awareness raised for our partner charity, On Course Foundation. It’s a very worthy cause, please take a look at their website.

With our inimitable, modular crazy golf course design it is possible to alter the shape and layout of the holes, something we decided to do for each of the three days. We had devised some unusual five-hole layouts, take a look at the gallery to the right and let us know your favourite via twitter.

The sixth and final hole was our BallDropCrazy game where the ball travels down a clear Perspex tube then rattles and ricochets randomly inside a see-through box before settling in any of six pockets. We gave each of the pockets a different value, so, added to your score on the first five holes, it could really make or break your round. This induced much joy – and frustration – amongst the players but as all golfers know, there is no reward without risk!  Everyone that visited was entered into the draw to win a brand spanking new Taylor Made driver.

Finally, it was great to be reacquainted with old friends and to meet new contacts. The buzz at the show seems to get “buzzier” each year and once again the organisers Simon, Adrian and all the team did an outstanding job. And with performances and demos from LGS regulars including Gary Smith, Kevin Carpenter, Tony Westwood and Dean Davis the event continues to be a golfer’s dream destination.

We hope to see you again at the 2016 London Golf Show!
